Trafalgar Falls, Titou Gorge Cave-Swim, and a Sulfur Spa Soak

      Roseau, Dominica
      From (USD) $75
      Highlights
      • Trafalgar Falls: A short hike takes you to two towering waterfalls that cascade 200 feet into a delightful pool.
      • Titou Gorge: If this feels like a scene out of a movie, that's because it is. Capt. Sparrow swam these caves in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
      • Wotten Waven: Immerse yourself in a detoxing mud bath, refreshing cool river water, and hot sulfuric pools – a delightful triple treat topped off with fresh local fruit.
      About this Roseau tour

After a sightseeing drive through the city of Roseau, you'll head to Trafalgar Village and Dominica's most popular destination, the twin Trafalgar Falls. Cascading 200 feet, the "Mother and Father falls" work together to create one spectacular pool and a back massage like no other.

Next on your never-forget list, you'll swim the Titou Gorge, the same deep dark canyon featured in the third Pirates of the Caribbean. From the base of a waterfall, you'll wind your way through natural hot springs and cool waters framed by towering cliffs and canopied by a slice of sky in the treetops.

Topping off your adventure, you'll crest Wotten Waven Caldera (one of Dominica's nine volcanoes) for a restorative respite in geothermal sulfuric pools, cool river water, and a detoxing mud bath. Your body will thank you. So will we.

The kind of blast you don't want to have

Dominica's nine volcanoes are why your toes find so much black sand, and why there are dozens of hot sulfur springs bubbling around the island and offshore. The heat has to escape somehow, and better through bubbles than an eruption – there hasn't been more than a steam blast since 1880.
