About this Cozumel tour
Many hold that the most beautiful part of Cozumel isn't actually a part at all: it's below the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea that surrounds it.
This snorkeling excursion makes a strong argument for this position. Before you see why, sail along the coast and absorb its beautiful views, worthy of any postcard or a beer commercial.
After training with a PADI-certified instructor and equipping yourself with snorkeling gear, dive on in: The water's ready for you, as are the dozens of species of fish in the area who are used to human visitors. Enjoy the color and variety of the world's second-longest barrier reef for up to three hours.
The type of snorkeling you'll do on this tour is slightly different than normal: It's a method known as drift snorkeling, which involves letting the water's current take you where it may as you relax for the ride. This relaxed pace is quite fitting for one of the most beautiful tropical paradises on the planet.
Speaking of relaxation, as you sail back to the island make sure to indulge in the complimentary open bar on your boat. Unwind with draft beer, rum punch, margaritas, sodas and bottled water. It's the perfect complement for the misty sea breeze on your face and the feeling of wonder that you get from exploring the whole other world just below the glassy waters of the Caribbean.
An Aquarium in the Wild
Conditions in Cozumel are uniquely great for scuba diving and snorkeling. As the home of the second largest barrier reef in the world, it attracts a huge array of species, from sharks to rays to turtles. Couple that with the water in Cozumel being clear enough to offer 200-foot visibility during certain parts of the year and you begin to see why millions of divers and snorkelers flock here every year.
