      About this Miami tour

Bienvenido a Miami! From an underdeveloped forest to a fertile land filled with orange groves and some of the best food and nightlife in the world, Miami has grown up through the ages and it can be seen through the transition of historic buildings and architectural styles.

On this tour you will drive past the homes of some of the most famous residents of the city, including Sylvester Stallone, Madonna, and the mansion of the late Gianni Versace. Versace’s opulent home was also the scene of his untimely demise, gunned down on the steps of his own home.

There is more to Miami than just sprawling estates and famous residents, though. During your tour you will take in some of the city’s most interesting architecture, heavily influenced by both Mediterranean and Spanish explorers who first came to the area. You will visit the Biltmore Hotel, a luxury hotel built in the 1920s, that has fulfilled many roles within the city. First, it served as a hotel, then a hospital during WWII, followed by the Veteran's Association that occupied the space until the 1960s. It also served, briefly, as part of the University of Miami's medical campus. Today it has been restored to its former glory as a hotel.

You’ll also get to take in sights and sounds that are familiar from television. First stop by the marketplace for a bite to eat. It has been featured on Top Chef! You’ll also visit the secret location of Michael Jackson’s famous Thriller video. This secluded location is full of musical history and the spooky vibe that the video is famous for!

After your guided coach tour, you'll board the high seas for a leisurely cruise around Biscayne Bay as the sun sets. Pay close attention while you take in the sights, a tour guide will offer a bi-lingual navigation during your cruise on a luxury yacht. Biscayne Bay has been listed as an aquatic preserve since the late 1970s, and is home to unique marine life. Relax in the air condition or chill out on the upper deck; keep your eyes open for celebrities known to take advantage of this beautiful Bay, they may even suspect you are one of them!

      Cocaine skyline

Located in a prime location, to intercept cocaine produced in parts of South America, Miami was overrun with cocaine during the 1970s. Its many ports and relatively lax air space made it a prime location for undetected imports. The cocaine business proved to be so lucrative that is believed to be the major reason for Miami's quick development.
