Adding or Deleting Pre-Defined Shapes

The gobeProductive suite allows you to add any freehand, polygon, or Bezier curve (bezigon) graphic to the Shapes tool on the Drawing Toolbar. This feature can be very useful for stringing the general shape of a logo or other regularly used shape.

Adding a Shape to the Drawing Toolbar

1.       Draw a shape. You can only save a freehand, polygon, or bezigon (Bezier curve) shape to the Drawing Toolbar.

2.       Right click on the shape, and from the pop-up menu select Add to ToolBar.

3.       The shape is added to the Pre-Defined Shapes list.

NOTE: If you add a pre-defined shape to the Toolbar, only the shape outline is stored. Any color fills, outline colors, or other formatting options are not stored as part of the pre-defined shape.

Deleting a Pre-Defined Shape from the Drawing Toolbar

When a new shape is added to the Toolbar, gobeProductive writes a small file to the Shapes folder. This folder is located within the folder where gobeProductive is installed.

1.       Locate the Shapes folder and open it.

2.       Inside this folder is a file for each pre-defined shape you have placed on the toolbar.

3.       Locate the shape you want to remove.

4.       Select the shape and choose Delete from the Windows File menu.

You will need to restart gobeProductive (if it is running) for the shape to be removed from the Drawing Toolbar.
