Editing a Color

  1. Display the Ink panel. You can access the Ink panel by:

  1. Click on the tab corresponding to the type of color you want to change (Font, Line, or Fill).

  2. Double-click the color you want to change.

  3. Select how you want to choose the color from the tab on the top left side of the dialog box. The HLS (Hue, Light, Saturation) option is the default; others are available as well. For example, if you know the exact RGB composition, you can select RGB and edit the color using that option.

  4. Create the color you want to place on the palette. The bottom left of the dialog shows the old color (left side) and new color (right side).

  5. Click OK when you have selected the color you want. Or, click Cancel to close the dialog box and continue using the existing color selection in the palette.

NOTE: Instead of using the Ink panel, you can double-click on any of the color indicators on the Format Toolbar to display the Edit Color dialog box. Then follow steps 3 through 5 above.
