Rotating an Item
Rotation works almost the same as resizing, except that you must change the selection pointer mode. You can rotate any item, including frames.
Change the cursor to rotation mode by clicking the Rotation Pointer Tool in the Drawing Toolbar.
Select the item you want to rotate (if it is not already selected).
Position the cursor over one of the handles on the item.
When the cursor changes to a rotation symbol, click and hold the primary mouse button.
Rotate the item as desired.
Release the mouse button when you reach the desired rotation.
Setting an Exact Rotation Angle
If you want to rotate an item to an exact position, use the Object Angle tool in the Graphics Toolbar. The angle is always in relation to the “normal” or default plane. For example, 90 degrees is always 90 degrees from the normal position, not 90 degrees from the position the image is in at the time of rotation. To use the tool:
Click the number next to the Object Angle tool on the Graphics Toolbar.
Enter a new rotation angle.
Rotating 90 Degrees Left or Right
To rotate 90 degrees left or right:
Perform one of these actions:
Click a Rotation Tool on the Standard Toolbar.
Select Transform from the Modify menu, then select Rotate Left or Rotate Right.
