Unsmoothing or Smoothing a Shape

  1. Select one, or more, vertex handles in a freehand or bezigon (Bezier curve) shape.

  2. Right-click on one of the handles. You can also hold down the <Shift> key while right-clicking to select more handles.

  3. Select Unsmooth Handle(s). The handle will change from a smooth curve to a sharp angle, like the corner of a polygon.

You can also smooth vertices in a polygon. This changes them from a sharp angle to a smooth arc. Follow the instructions above, except select Smooth or Auto-Smooth Handle(s) from the right-click menu. Auto-Smooth generates the smoothest arcs possible given the selected vertices. If you select Smooth instead, you can fine-tune the angles of the arcs. See Working with Vertices for more information.
