The Line tool enables you to set properties for any lines you include in your document. Lines include freehand lines as well as the outer edges of the shapes you create.
You can set line properties either before or after you create the object. In either case, you will use the Line tool, which is found on the Format Toolbar:
From this tool, you can:
Choose one of the selected line types, by clicking on it.
Add arrows to one or both ends of your line, by clicking the right or left arrow boxes.
Set the line thickness, by using the slider bar or entering a value directly.
If you display the Line panel, by clicking on the Show Line Panel tool in the upper right-hand corner of the Line tool, you can also edit line definitions, create new line styles, and delete unwanted styles.
Display the Line panel.
Click on the line style you want to edit.
Click the Edit Line tool.
Modify any of the following attributes:
Name. You can enter a new name for the style.
Printable. Set the line as printing (checked) or non-printing.
Type. Available types are: Dash Line, Dot Line, and Hash Line.
Gap Width. Set the gap between each dash, dot, or hash.
Item Width. Set the width of each dash, dot, or hash.
Clock OK when done.
Display the Line panel.
Click the New Line tool.
Follow steps 4 and 5 in the above procedure.
Display the Line panel.
Click on the line style you want to delete.
Click the Delete tool.
