Selecting and Activating a Frame
Before working with frames, you must understand the key differences between selecting a frame and activating one.
Selection is the process of choosing a frame to manipulate (move, resize, rotate, copy, or delete, for example). To select a frame, single-click anywhere in the frame. The grabbing tools become visible, but the menu and toolbars are not updated to match the frame’s type and the contents of the frame are not editable.
Activation is the process of “entering” a frame so that you can alter the frame’s contents. When you double-click on a frame, the gobeProductive interface changes to display the tools and menus applicable for the activated frame. You can then edit the contents of the frame using the correct tools.
Alternate Frame Selection Methods
You can also use the following options to select frames or graphic items. Some selection options are not available while working inside a frame.
