Setting Up the Page for Printing
The Page Setup dialog manages how a document is printed, including orientation (portrait or landscape), page ordering, and scale.
From the File menu, select Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box is displayed.
Select the type of paper and paper source used by your printer. The dialog displays the current selection.
Choose the orientation (Portrait or Landscape).
Select the page margins if you have not done so previously.
Change the gap between the page edge and your headers and footers if so desired. Setting the gap to zero runs the header or footer to the edge of the page; higher than .5 increases the size of the header or footer and decreases the area of the body page.
To choose a non-default printer, click the Printer button, then select a different printer. You can also access the Windows printer configuration tools from the Printer dialog. Click OK when done modifying the printer.
Click OK when finished. You will need to go to the Print dialog box to actually print the document. See Printing Your Document for more information.
