When you wish upon a star, doesn't matter "where" you are. The magic of Walt Disney in all its awe and splendor is right within your reach. Even half way around the world.

Hong Kong Disneyland is heaven for the kids. And grow-ups will appreciate both the major and subtle changes in the park – which make Disneyland new, even if you've been there before.

To avoid cultural problems and backlash, Hong Kong Disneyland incorporates Chinese design customs and traditions such as feng shui. Including a bend on the walkway near the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort to keep good qi energy from spilling out.

Main Street, USA, looks just like it does at all other parks on the outside. But it's built mostly of wood instead of stone and mixes in Asian culture on the inside. Walk into Plaza Inn to find a classic Chinese eatery. The Market Bakery honors the bakery of a Vietnamese pastry chef who brought with him world famous desserts from Austria.

The park also features the Iron Man Experience, which is the first-ever Marvel attraction in a Disney park. And Mystic Point is set at an 1896 adventurer's outpost in an uncharted rain forest full of supernatural events and mysterious forces.

Wherever you are, it's always a good time for Disneyland. Young or old, it makes wishes come true.

      The Hidden Mickeys

All Disney parks have "hidden mickeys," representations of Mickey Mouse subtly blended into the design of a ride or the decor of an attraction. They come in all sizes and can be painted or made up of objects like rocks. This tradition started when Disney built Epcot. Because Epcot would be selling alcoholic beverages, it was decided that no Disney character would be seen there. Some "Imagineers" saw this as a challenge and began incorporating Mickey profiles into the design. And the rest is history.
