      Helpful hints

Bring a change of clothing. Participants are provided with all snorkel equipment but can use your own as well. Each individual will need to disclose their physical fitness and sign a waiver. Dark swim wear is advised for bathing in the sulfuric pools as garments can become stained. Jewelry may be stained or ruined so it is advised to remove jewelry prior to bathing in the pools. Some of the roads travelled on this tour may be bumpy and winding so travelers that are prone to motion sickness should take the necessary medication prior to the start of the tour.

Bubbles, bubbles, everywhere – that's what you get when your island is home to nine volcanoes, seven more than any other Caribbean island. A plethora of geothermal activity simmers below, which means many hot sulfur springs, which means this tour will tickle your fancy, and your body.

You'll start atop the Caldera known as Wotten Waven (no, that's not Elmer Fudd's pronunciation of rotten raven). There, you'll soak in a tub of cool river water, in hot geothermal-powered sulfuric springs, and if you've a hankerin' for muddy waters, a detoxing mud bath.

On Soufriere Beach, you'll find more than black sand and stellar views. You'll find more bubbles right at the ocean's edge and below the surface. Pop on a mask and snorkel and you'll quickly see how the Champagne Reef got its name.

Wrapping up your bubble-filled adventure, glasses will be raised, and filled with a different vintage entirely. Don Ho was right. Tiny bubbles do make you feel fine.

      What a wotten name

Named after its sister location in England, Wotten Waven was once a 362-acre estate manned by 32 slaves. Owned by a British family, they grew coffee until an 1840s blight and then switched to sugar. After emancipation and apprenticeship, former laborers settled there, and British landowners begrudgingly sold their properties to local elite multi-racial merchant families.

Non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of requested services.
