"The City of Light," or "La Ville Lumiere," shines oh-so-brightly for you tonight. With this GoBe evening experience, dressed chicly to hit the town, you'll sample many of its sparkly charms. Indulge in a guided tour, during which you'll glimpse beautifully lit monuments and museums, historic squares and neighborhoods, and bridges over the Seine River, all while hearing the enlightening stories behind them.
Situated halfway up Avenue des Champs-Elysees, Lido de Paris beckons. Pop that cork as the "Paris Merveilles" revue delivers on its promise of revealing the city's marvels, quite literally. This shimmering, shimmying showcase is resplendent in glamour – and the talented Bluebell Girls and Lido Boys. Across sumptuous sets, see Paris' icons transformed before your eyes, blurring space-time boundaries.
Try to keep up! The bubbly choreographies ensue at a wild pace, with the players bedecked in extravagant costumes of rhinestones, sequins, and feathers, brilliant beneath a thousand lights. Be forewarned, though. While this universally renowned cabaret welcomes children four years of age and older, the performance does feature a bevy of lovely ladies, topless with derrieres al fresco, strutting across the stage. Ooh la la!
"The quintessential embodiment of Paris"
The two-million crystals accenting this show pale in comparison to the illustrious entertainers who are its hallmark. More than 40 Bluebell Girls and 12 Lido Boys comprise this sensual and sophisticated company, created in 1932 by Margaret Kelly, and they bewitch every audience with their highly trained style. Not enough for you? You might also witness a fiery singer, contorting acrobats, a sexy sword swallower, and more!
