The tour kicks off with epicurean fare, prepared by Chef Philippe Lacroix and his team. The unique menu combines traditional and innovative elements that will delight your taste buds. Post-dinner, it's time to hit the dance floor. So let loose and show off your best moves. After dinner and dancing, it's time to let others do the moving at a Lido show.

Since it opened in 1946, Le Lido has played host to talent such as Elton John, Siegfried and Roy, Shirley MacLaine, Eartha Kitt, Edith Piaf, and Laurel and Hardy. It's also known for the world-famous Bluebell Girls. The troupe began in 1932, but have been a Lido fixture since 1947, when their founder, Margaret Kelly Leibovici (aka "Miss Bluebell"), brought the show to the Paris venue. By the end of the 1950s, the troupe was internationally known, and the show expanded to Las Vegas, Africa, other countries in Europe, and eastern Asia.

The Bluebell Girls are known to be beautiful and statuesque, with their average height being 5'11". And until her retirement in 1986, Leibovici handpicked each dancer for the show. The troupe is also known for lavish costumes made with thousands of dollars worth of feathers, sequins, fine furs, and rich fabrics.

The Lido is also known for using water effects. The stage can be raised and lowered, as well as change back and forth into an ice rink or swimming pool. It also features elaborate set pieces that come up from below. On this tour, you'll be sipping champagne (a half bottle per person) while you take in an enchanting show.

      Grace under pressure

Le Lido's Bluebell Girls may make their choreography look graceful and effortless, but looks can be deceiving, because these women are dancing around in costumes that weigh over 30 pounds. Their feather backpacks alone weigh in at just over 10 kg (22 pounds), and their headgear amounts to a little over 6 kg (13 pounds). Add in their sky-high heels, and you've got yourself an impressive workout.
