      About This Berlin Tour

Your private vehicle and driver will pick you up from your Berlin city hotel and take you to meet your guide, who will be waiting for you at the museum.

Behind the imposing façade of Berlin’s architecture is something very interesting. Hundreds of years of history are waiting to be unearthed at Museum Island – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the Mitte district on the shimmering Spree River, this jaw-dropping complex astounds with its beauty but more so, for what is concealed inside the monuments.

Built between 1824 and 1930, Museum Island demonstrates how architecture has evolved over the years. The framework of Altes Museum is undeniably ancient, what with it being Germany’s oldest museum. A neoclassical work of art designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, it displays Greek and Roman artifacts, as well as an arrangement of 18 columns.

Soon after Altes Museum’s construction, the area gradually introduced more museums, including Bode Museum and Alte Nationalgalerie. Pergamom Museum impresses with Pergamom Altar and the reconstructed Ishtar Gate of Babylonia. Dating back to the 6th century BC, the gate has been rejuvenated with original pieces that were recovered from excavations in Babylon.

A diverse collection of artifacts have also been kept safe inside the New Museum. Prepare to embark on an adventure through different historic periods here. The main attraction is the 3,300-year-old limestone bust of Queen Nefertiti. Other featured relics make up the Papyrus Collection and Classical Antiquities Collection.

      Artistic Berlin

It could be the landscape that draws creative people to Berlin or perhaps the history that flows through it, just like its navigable waterways do. Approximately 6,000 professional artists have set up camp in Germany’s capital, where large sculptures, installations and street art beautify the urban wonderland. Each year, Berlin Art Week lures people from all corners of the globe to the metropolis. Home to 440 art galleries and a dynamic art scene, it’s no wonder so many artists choose to settle in this city.
