      • The Acropolis: This rocky outcrop towering 200 feet above the city has been the physical and spiritual heart of Athens for more than 2,500 years. See and learn about all the main structures, including the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaia gateway, and, of course, the magnificent Parthenon – a masterpiece of architectural design that still awes today. We'll put it all in the context of ancient Greek history and discuss the role of religion in Athenian culture.
      • The Museum: Marvel at nearly 4,000 objects going back thousands of years – nearly every known artifact found on the Acropolis and its slopes. Opened in 2009 and designed to echo the topography of the Acropolis itself, this fascinating museum even has an excavated site at its entrance.
      • More than a guide: Even by GoBe standards, your tour leader is special. Known officially as "docents" (from the Latin for teacher), these trained archeologists combine a scholar's expertise with a knack for bringing ancient civilizations to vibrant life in just three hours.
      • Please note: Tickets to the Acropolis and the museum are not included in the walk price, and must be purchased on the day of your tour. There are various ticket combinations available. Children under 18 may enter all sites except the Acropolis Museum free with valid ID.

      Meeting point

Please meet in the entrance of the New Acropolis Museum, located at 15 Dionysiou Areopagitou St on southern shadow of the Acropolis. Please meeting point is in front of the statue of the owl (symbol of Athena) located just outside of the entrance of the museum.
