      • St. Mark's Square: Stroll along the heart of Venice and see the Doge's Palace, the Basilica of St. Mark. the Bell Tower, the St. Mark and St. Theodore columns in the Piazzetta, the Library of St. Mark, the Procuratie Vecchi, and more.
      • Basilica of St. Mark: It was built as the private church of the Doge when Viennese merchants stole the relics of St. Mark and brought them back to Venice. The abundance of gold mosaics and multi-colored marble was meant to signify power.
      • The Rialto: Walk along the centuries-old commercial heart of Venice, and enjoy buildings like Corte del Milion, reportedly the ancestral home of Marco Polo, and the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, used as a trading center for visiting merchants.
      • Rialto Bridge: Steep steps and arches highlight this famous 16th century bridge over the Grand Canal. Stone reliefs decorate the base at each end, with St. Mark and St. Theodore on one side, and the Annunciation  on the other.
      • Expert guide: Enjoy an informative and enlightening discussion of the artistic  influence of the East on Venice's art and architecture, with your expert Venice historian guide.
      • Small group = more personal: Share your experience with only the people you know; enjoy the luxury of deeper interaction with your guide and a more flexible itinerary.
