About this Flam tour
Experience the beauty of Norway’s pristine nature on this tour. Travel towards Myrdal Station aboard the Flam Railway and feast your eyes on the Rjoandefossen waterfall, Rallarvegen bike trail, and Kjosfossen waterfall. Along the journey, the train will briefly stop at Kjosfossen waterfall, allowing you to take advantage of some of the best photo opportunities.
Once you arrive at Myrdal Station, you'll change trains and continue to the town of Voss. From Voss, travel by bus to Gudvangen, stopping at Tvindefossen waterfall where you may walk right up to this majestic body of water. Then, continue your experience towards the Stalheim Hotel. This site is known for its breathtaking views of the Naeroyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, hold on tight for a thrilling ride down Stalheimskleiva, one of northern Europe’s steepest roads.
As you continue to make your way towards Gudvangen, enjoy a tour of the Magic White Caves. Classified as one of the best things to do in Gudvangen, you’ll experience different sights and sounds as you move through the labyrinth of the caves. Enjoy the stillness and tranquility as you walk through this incredible site sure to be a remarkable experience. Refreshments and snacks will be provided during the tour to enhance your adventure.
Arriving by cruise ship? Please exit the port terminal building or go to the end of the tender pier drop-off to meet your guide. Look for our displayed logo sign.
The train's decor is authentic retro, with soft seats and heating but no A/C. After your tour, you might want to visit the Flam railway museum (free admission) or the Aegir microbrewery and check out the souvenir shops.
Don't forget to bring some Norwegian krone. Most stores close early on Saturdays until Monday. Bring photo ID if you plan to use a credit card.
You will be walking for about one mile, mostly over gravel/paved and uneven paths with some steps. If you have limited mobility, this tour may be too challenging for you to enjoy and maintain the pace of the group.

This experience is rated moderate. Full participation may require extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces, steep terrain and/or water activity in a slight current. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into account.
