Acapulco’s La Quebrada Famous Cliff Divers Show & Dinner
Tour Participation Requirements
The main features of your tour are dinner at Club La Perla and La Quebrada, but the journey to your final destination is also a highlight. The route to the restaurant and show will take you along Acapulco Bay’s main artery street, Costera Miguel Aleman. Along the way, you’re flanked by quaint restaurants, shops and markets on one side, while the opposite side of the avenue provides stunning views of Acapulco’s famed sandy beaches.
Your excursion to Club La Perla and the La Quebrada Cliff Divers is more than just dinner and a show: It’s an unforgettable experience that will have your heart racing with anticipation. Your three-course meal includes an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Options are seasonal and always-changing, but you’re sure to see local meals and your favorite selections on the menu.
Club La Perla is located adjacent to the rugged, dangerous La Quebrada Cliffs, which makes for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Of course, your attention will be focused on the cliff divers during the spectacular show. Watch the performance as divers leap from 40-80 feet high – into waters averaging just 12 feet deep, depending on the tide.
Elvis Had Fun in Acapulco
A 1963 musical comedy, starring Elvis Presley, brought the divers of La Quebrada to the attention of the world. In the movie, Elvis plays a boat crew member who gets fired from his job due to the actions of the yacht captain’s bratty daughter. A Mexican friend helps him get a job as a lifeguard (and, of course, singer) at a local hotel, but he clashes with his rival – a champion diver at the La Quebrada Cliffs. Elvis’ character decides to challenge his adversary and agrees to a death-defying dive in front of a captivated audience. He succeeds, earning the respect of his competitor and winning the hearts of women worldwide.
Non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of requested services.
