About This Los Cabos Tour
A legendary passion thrums in the hearts of all Bajan Latinos. Maybe it’s a legacy from our sultry Caribbean sun. Or from the surging waves of El Oceáno Pacífico seeking sweet release on our shores. Or from the exotic scents that waft like perfume all around us, a mélange of salt, sand, spices, and sea. But whatever the origin, our passion is more than amor. It’s seeing all of life through an imaginative, romantic lens. But if you’re short on the magic of DNA, amigo, and you’re planning a trip to Cabo, there’s still a way to make sure your heart will thrum to the proper rhythm.
Your answer lies in a breath-stealing sunset, the gently undulating waves of the Sea of Cortez, and the luxurious catamaran “Caborey.” From the moment you catch sight of her triple decks and 144-feet of gleaming white perfection, you’ll know the night is going to be something extraordinary. Once aboard, your only concern will be which tropical mixed drink you might like to try first from our complimentary domestic bar. Mojito? Margarita? Just a beer, thanks? Not to worry. The drinks are unlimited, there are more than 50 selections, and the night’s still young as you make your way to Caborey’s upper deck, where magazine-worthy views of El Arco and her sunset await.
Live music accompanies the cocktails as our ship follows its route along the tip of Baja to welcome the Mexican twilight. You’ll then be led below-deck to one of Cabo’s finest restaurants (and the only one afloat)! Along with our house salad and choice of fruit dressings, Caborey offers six delectable main course options that include Chateaubríand, shrimp dishes, sea bass, chicken breasts, and equally delicious sides. (When in season, and for an additional fee, grilled lobster is also available). Propelling “delectables” into “decadence,” Caborey also offers a choice of Strawberry-Chocolatte, Petit Chouxa la Crème, or Opera Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Suddenly, the lights dim. The audience waits expectantly. You’ve feasted your palate, now feast your eyes as the evening entertainment begins. First, an exciting and colorful Mexican & Argentinean show, with riveting performances that shine a light on representative traditions. Next, classic mariachi reigns with songs that reflect this distinctive and much beloved Mexican sound and style. And finally, an edge-of-your-seat Las Vegas styled Tango sure to send every pulse and nerve-end into overdrive! So rest assured, mi amigo. It’s Cabo! If not DNA, then Caborey will push the “reset” button on the passions of your heart…for the night, for the week, and with any luck at all, forever!
The Enigmas Beneath Your Feet
Any cruising tour that skirts El Finisterra, or “Land’s End,” will sweep you past two sites as well known as they are mysterious. The first, El Arco, is the famous arch-shaped rock formation that juts into the ocean at the tip of Baja, a natural “X marks the spot” where the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez collide. The ocean’s waves surround it, but every so often – and for reasons not yet understood – a beach appears on which lovers may cross to bask directly beneath the arch. It remains an unpredictable, symbolic, and treasured gift. The other mysterious site is Sand Falls, an undersea phenomenon discovered by famed French diver, Jacques Cousteau. Reserved for advanced divers due to its depth and surging undertow, it begins with mere trickles of sand which grow to rivulets, then cascades and torrents, becoming a veritable river of sand tumbling 1,200 feet into the sea canyon below. Imagine. Unseen for millenia, and all beneath your feet!
