      About This Anchorage Tour

Experience the natural beauty and wildlife of Alaska on this Anchorage to Seward transfer and tour.

Your tour from Anchorage to Seward begins when you are picked up from your hotel. There will be complimentary beverages and snacks available during your drive. Travel along the scenic roadway known as Turnagain Arm, one of the best places to see Alaskan nature as its most spectacular. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see sheep, mountain goats, eagles, and more. For top photo opportunities, you’ll stop at the famous Beluga Point to check out the amazing views.

The next stop of your transfer tour is Girdwood. Experience an aerial tram ride up the longest double black diamond ski slope in North America. Prepare for an incredible view when you reach the top. On select days, you’ll be able to visit the Roundhouse Museum, located on the mountainside with a continuous platform that’s perfect for taking in the landscape. You’ll then re-board the tram for the ride down. Have lunch at a bake shop where you can enjoy homemade soup, sourdough bread, drinks, and a sweet dessert.

After your satisfying lunch, the next stop of your tour will take you to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Visit some of the best of Alaska’s wildlife at this refuge, where the goal is to promote awareness, education, and rehabilitation among Alaska’s animals.

Your final tour stop is at Exit Glacier, one of the top natural formations in the area. Proceed to drive off the main road for eight miles and embark on a quick walk for the best sight of this incredible glacier.

You will arrive at Seward at approximately 6 p.m.
