About This Anchorage Tour
Step into the world of Alaska’s top sport on this experience! Learn what it takes to be a champion of the “Last Great Race” as you visit four-time champion Dallas Seavey’s estate. Meet his furry teammates and view live demonstrations before jumping on a sled.
This fully guided tour will begin as you travel through snowy roads north from Anchorage. Complimentary Alaska glacier water and snacks will be provided aboard the luxury van. Along the way you’ll make a brief stop to enjoy a hot lunch and warm up. Then, weather permitting, you’ll also stop at Mt. Denali, the tallest mountain in North America where you will enjoy some of the best photo opportunities.
Finally, arrive at Dallas Seavey’s homestead and watch as your expert tour guide and Dallas’s dogs offer gear demonstrations. You’ll also get to meet and greet these friendly snow creatures and capture incredible picture-perfect moments. Then, enjoy approximately one hour of dog sledding with some of the best and happiest canine athletes in Alaska. The incredible strength these furry animals possess is sure to impress you. This experience will teach you what it takes to train a team and compete in the “Last Great Race” at this exceptional and professional kennel.

Layered clothing is essential for your comfort. A moisture-wicking bottom layer and a waterproof/windproof outer layer is recommended and what's in between those layers is up to you. Some additional winter clothing may be available to borrow upon request.
Plan to walk short distances, stand for short presentations and walk up and down a short, but steep hill to board the dog sled portion of the tour.

Tour Participation Requirements
This experience is rated mild. To participate fully, you may be required to walk over primarily even surfaces at a leisurely pace. You may encounter a limited number of steps, cobblestones, or uneven surfaces, and you may have to stand for extended periods of time.
Travelers must be 8 years of age or older to participate in this tour.

Pregnant women or travelers with injuries, seizure disorders, back or neck problems are not allowed to participate. Medical conditions must be disclosed.
