      About This Boston Tour

Immerse yourself in 18th-century history as you sample different ales, enjoy delicious cuisine, and discuss the fate of Colonial America with important Bostonians. Feel the range of emotions about the American Revolution as the colonies protested British parliament. Relive the moments before iconic historical events, like the Boston Tea Party.

Boston's own Harpoon Brewery supplies a selection of European-style beers that are authentic to the time of our Founding Fathers. If you want to be like Paul Revere, hot buttered rum is the drink of choice. The Benjamin Edes punch is a mix of red wine, rum, and citrus. Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wine selections as well as non-alcoholic beverages are also available for tavern guests. Needless to say you will not leave feeling parched.

Ye Tavern Keep's Bill of Fare menu boasts mouth-watering dishes such as sweet meat of swine, served with grained mustard and delicious chutney. The secret recipe for the marinade on the rosemary roasted chicken's legs keeps you coming back for more. Pair these meaty meals with fresh vegetable pickings of radishes, tomatoes, carrots, celery, and pickled cucumbers. To round out this feast, enjoy a full-bodied cheese platter (with sharp cheddar, Emmental Swiss, and Blue Stilton) and a delicious selection of fresh and dried fruits.

While you're enjoying your meal you can talk politics with Samuel Adams, ask John Hancock how he developed such a distinguished signature, and inquire how to throw together the perfect gathering from Hancock's wife, the American Hostess Dorothy Quincy. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum Tavern Night will leave you saying, "Huzzah!"

      Paul Revere, DDS?

A silversmith by trade, Paul Revere sometimes worked as an amateur dentist. He used his craftsman skills to create wire dentures from walrus ivory or animal teeth. He was also the first person to practice forensic dentistry in the United States when he identified the body of Joseph Warren by recognizing wiring he used on a false tooth for his good friend. Warren dispatched Revere on his famous midnight ride and later died a hero of the Battle of Bunker Hill.
