Chicago Odyssey Weekend Champagne Brunch Cruise
Tour Participation Requirements
What is it about being out on the water that sharpens the senses, stokes the appetite, and adds zest to every bite? The breeze, the sun, the sound of the waves slapping the hull ... it's all of these. Factor in the dramatic Chicago skyline, a little champagne, and brunch treats that are pretty good to start with, and you have an especially scrumptious Saturday or Sunday.
From Navy Pier, the newly renovated Odyssey will head up to North Avenue Beach before returning south to the Planetarium and Burnham Harbor. Along the way, you'll see Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), the John Hancock building, Aon Center, Shedd Aquarium, and many other landmarks.
Make sure you explore the ship in its entirety. Wander all three climate-controlled floors, find your way to the Captain's bridge, and enjoy the breeze and the sun up on the rooftop lounge.
As we cruise Lake Michigan raise your glasses, pause to reflect on a remarkable setting, to savor an exceptional brunch, to enjoy every minute of this elegant experience.
Let's do brunch
In an 1895 issue of Hunter's Weekly, British author Guy Beringer suggested an alternative to heavy post-church meals, writing, "Brunch is cheerful, sociable and inciting… it is talk-compelling. It puts you in good temper, it makes you satisfied with yourself and your fellow beings, it sweeps away the cobwebs of the week." We couldn't agree more. Thankfully, America finally caught on in the 1930s.
