You're in one of the last great wildernesses on the planet, and kayaks – used to explore Alaska for thousands of years – are the ultimate way to experience its vast and enthralling beauty! You can paddle silently where humpback whales feed, or sit so low in the water that you see deep into its clear depths. Plus, easily navigate to shore for intimate sightings of land-based wildlife (if they aren't too shy).

This is your opportunity to be amazed by the Humpback whales that congregate here to feed. Imagine being at water level with these wonderful creatures. They're among the most acrobatic species in the world and occasionally fully breach out of the water in an amazing display of their power. Seeing these dramatic marine mammals is the highlight of any Alaska adventure – especially from a kayak!

With an itinerary as smooth as the waters, this GoBe adventure maximizes your whale and wildlife sightings and immerses you in the wilderness. We'll spend about three hours on the water with breaks, water, snacks, and coffee to keep you fueled. And, of course, we'll leave this wilderness habitat as pristine as we found it. Ripples behind your kayak are the only trace of your passing, and memories for a lifetime are all you'll take away.

      An amazing playlist

When it comes to singing, Humpback whales are considered the most imaginative. Their repertoire includes a variety of eerie and beautiful songs they sing in warm waters, perhaps for mating purposes. In cold waters, they make rougher sounds, scrapes, and groans, perhaps to locate the masses of krill that are always on their menu. Here's hoping they'll serenade you as you paddle.
