Meeting point

On a cruise ship? Meet your driver on the pier, in front of the ship. If you're staying at a hotel, meet at the Tour Center at berth 3 located on the NW corner of Sockeye Sams.

Your tour begins at the oceanfront in Ketchikan, Alaska's first city and the salmon capital of the world. Experience a soft-riding, stable, 25-foot SAFE boat, formerly used as a fast-response vessel by the U.S. Coast Guard. You’ll Travel in a warm, comfortable cabin or enjoy the mist from the deck as your captain shares with you the beauty, history, and culture of Revillagigedo Island.

The coastline is teeming with some of the best sea life: see everything from harbor seals and Steller sea lions to black bears, Dall's porpoise, orca, and humpback whales. There are more than 40 eagle nests within a few miles of Ketchikan.

Southeast Alaska has a shoreline of more than eighteen thousand miles. That's more than the entire continental United States. Life here is inescapably about water. So it is only fitting that one of the very best ways to experience this beautiful country is by boat.

As the bustling fishing boats, ferries, float-planes, and tenders of the harbor begin to recede, other activities begin to take their place.
