About this Key West, Florida tour
Ahoy! Sail ho! Batten down the hatches and swab the poop deck: There's a lot to be done when you're the captain.
They're kidding about the poop deck. But on this tour, you really will get to become both master and commander of your very own 18' Hurricane Sundeck Sport Boat. This sleek craft comes equipped with space for up to eight passengers and an empty cooler for whatever boating fuel best powers you and your band of scallywags.
Will you take it slow and enjoy a leisurely full or half-day rental relaxing under the warm Florida sun? Feel free to find a sandbar to take a break at, or head to a remote snorkeling spot for time below the water.
Along the way you'll be joined by schools of tropical fish, exotic birds, dolphins, and other amazing sea creatures. From out on the water you get a view of the coast and its lush trees and pale crystal sand that is hard to beat.
We provide the setting and supporting cast, but here it's up to you to create your own boating adventure, the same way the pirate captains of centuries ago did in these very same waters.
A Happy Accident
The famous Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon could have used a guided tour (probably a jet ski too, for that matter). He landed at present-day Florida in 1513, supposedly looking for the fountain of youth. Instead, he discovered what is now Key West and named it Los Martires, Spanish for "the martyrs," after the gloomy mangrove trees that still line the backcountry waters.
Please make your way to 617 Front St, Key West to meet your guide.
Check-in occurs 30 minutes prior to tour departure.
Participants must be able bodied to embark and debark the boat. Not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
