Stop for pictures in Brooklyn Bridge Park and visit the legendary Coney Island boardwalk. When your hunger returns, it will be time to enjoy Sicilian-style pizza at the famous L & B Spumoni Gardens in Bensonhurst. Fuhgeddaboudit come hungry and leave happy.

      Feverish Facts

Saturday Night Fever, the film that sparked the disco craze and made John Travolta a household name, also gave the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge a turn in the limelight. In one scene, Travolta's Tony Manero character brags to Stephanie, his dancing partner, "I know everything about that bridge." While most of his stats are on the money, his claim that a worker fell off the bridge during its construction and was buried in its cement is pure fiction.
