      Activity Level

This experience is rated mild. To participate fully, you may be required to walk over primarily even surfaces at a leisurely pace. You may encounter a limited number of steps, cobblestones, or uneven surfaces, and you may have to stand for extended periods of time.

      Age restrictions

Suitable for travelers 5 years of age and older. You must be 21 years of age or older to buy or drink alcoholic beverages.

Step onto a sophisticated Euro-style boat and back to an era when well-heeled passengers dined and danced along the waterways of Paris and London. While those cities have their charms, the Big Apple shines bold and bright. Even novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald (who knew a little something about elegant eras) described New York as promising "all the mystery and the beauty in the world."

Your evening is filled with surprises, beauty, culinary delights, and more. You'll see ethereal skyline views that are at once a soaring symbol of the city's power and a magical mirage that could be lifted from a storybook. As we sail under the famous Brooklyn Bridge, imagine 150,000 amazed New Yorkers streaming across after the big 1883 gala celebrating the Eighth Wonder of the World. (Back then, the crossing cost a penny.)

You'll see more landmarks that express the city's rich heritage as we pass Ellis Island and the towering Statue of Liberty with her seven-spiked crown representing the world's seven oceans, seven continents, and a universal concept of freedom. Pause for a moment of remembrance as we see One World Trade Center, also called Freedom Tower, America's new beacon of hope shining bravely in our post-9/11 world.

As these gasp-worth sights glide by, your meal is as enticing as the views. Start with a Seafood Tower, Duck Pastrami, or Togarashi Tuna. Entrees include Braised Short Rib and Miso Glazed Cod. And naturally the indulgent desserts feature New York Style Cheesecake. Then, revel in the city's spirit as you dance your way along the river. Step onto the deck to breathe in the sights–the air here is different than any city in the world.

      City of superlatives

New Yorkers say their city is the biggest and the best. For good reason. One World Trade Center is the Western Hemisphere's tallest skyscraper with its spire reaching 1,776 feet (no coincidence that's the year the Declaration of Independence was signed). Macy's is America's largest department store. And, after this tour, you know Lady Liberty is huge with her 879 shoe size and 35-foot waist. She should probably pass on the cheesecake.
