      About This Sydney Tour

This is your chance to uncover Sydney's best bits. In just two hours you will be exposed to some of the city's trendiest eateries, the most breathtaking landmarks, and areas where Aboriginal heritage was born. Start by getting acquainted with your tour guide and fellow tourists, if you are joining as part of a group that is. A cup of freshly brewed coffee will stimulate the senses and help you to focus as a local feeds your knowledge on orientation and general city information.

Get a taste of the dynamic and diverse cultural life that Sydney is known for. Over the years, waves of immigration have shaped the urban haven, where the atmosphere is a blend of spiritual, sporty and professional. The strong suburban culture can be felt as you approach local attractions, like Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Sydney Tower. Notice Sydney's culture, customs and etiquette as you stroll for the final hour. With the provided maps, event schedules, and transport options, making the most of your stay will be a breeze.
Home to the World’s Largest Steel Bridge
When it first opened, horses and their riders would pay three pence to cross Sydney Harbour Bridge, better known by Sydneysiders as the “Coathanger”. Nowadays, the fee is 43.30, and horses aren’t permitted to cross. The rules might have changed since the arch-based bridge originally opened in 1932, but it remains one of the country’s most-photographed landmarks to this day. A staggering 52,800 tonnes worth of steel is used to hold the bridge up, with 79% of the steel imported from England. Eight years of building and the labor of 1,400 men led to the construction of Sydney Harbour Bridge, which stands 134 meters above the ocean that flows beneath it.
