      • More than a guide: Even by GoBe standards, your tour leader is special. Known officially as "docents" (from the Latin for teacher), these local experts allow you to experience Cartagena with someone who lives there.
      • Practical information: Interested in Colombian cuisine? Art? Your docent can recommend restaurants and museums. Looking for general sightseeing? He or she recommend the places visitors have to see and places only locals know.
      • Knowledge and understanding: As you walk through the city, you'll start to understand the geographical layout and gain invaluable insights into Colombia's people, culture, and rich history.
      • Your group, your tour: This private experience lets you tailor the departure time, route, and pace to your group's interests. The tour usually runs about two hours, but even that's flexible.

Please meet in the lobby reception area of your hotel - your guide will be holding a sign with your name/the tour's name on it. You must confirm the name of your hotel at checkout, so we know where to pick you up. Your tour begins there.

Then we'll set out on a stroll through, admiring the quaint streets and charming plazas. We may stop for some fresh juice, opening the door to recommendations local produce and where or where to go for Caribbean cuisine. Maybe we linger in the neighborhood square, touching on the lives and works of notable Cartageneros most notable illustrious former residents, like Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It's up to you.
